Jackson Hole... Trip of horrors!!!

Hi there everybody. So, last weekend we got to go to Jackson Hole for a Family reunion. I have been so excited to go and have been looking forward to it for weeks. I love Jackson and Yellowstone. I've been there tons and just feel it in my blood when I see those mountains. But I now realize how much my life has changed since I have last been there. Driving so far with two kids under three then trying to get them to sleep in the same room in our cabin, then having my two year old scream nonstop for basically 4 days... "Mommy, hold you!!" while I am already holding my 10 month old. What more can I say. It was rough. But wait. We saw a bear! Check out this picture. It had caught a baby elk. Isn't that the coolest picture. There were about 250 people pulled over on the side of the road watching it.

Some austrailian dude was nice enough to take this picture of the family. Believe it or not, this is the best picture of all of us. I'm glad I got to go and see the family. And Saturday was great. We took the kids on the ferry at Jenny's lake and that night we hung out in Mike and Steph's cabin and the kids had so much fun and were being silly. It was good times. But I think we'll wait a year or two before we venture out for another long car ride.

I can say that I am glad the trip is over as well. What a ride that was! I say we leave all the kids with Grandma and Grandpa and we take an extended vacation with just our spouses :) We love ya and we are sorry it was such a wild and crazy weekend. But it was fun to have it be wild and crazy in such a beautiful place.

It was so good to see you and your kids. I am only sorry it went by so fast and we really didn't get to get caught up with everyone. It is definitly a different vacation with kids, but the little we saw of you was great.
